We invite you to take part in our annual internship program at our Skein office in Kyiv. The internship is scheduled to run during the next 3 months and offer flexible part-time and full-time projects with possibility to work remotely and earn new skills and experience in a dynamic, cool team.
Areas and specialisations:
- Project Management. Our interns will be involved in a full-cycle process of project development starting from the first kick-off call with a client, gathering overall project and business requirements, processes planning with our engineering team and ending with the project release. We are working with data driven innovation projects, so it would be a big plus if you really like everything related to data and eager to build cool things based on it.
- Data Science and Analytics. Our Interns will be assisting with reports and data analysis, helping with creating unique products, analyse problems and implement solutions along with our analytics and data science team leads.
- Software engineering. Our Interns are involved in the process of development of real products which already have lots of users or just launching. Be a part of our software engineering team. We really love to write a code in Python and React.
- Marketing, PR and Business Development. No prior experience is needed, however, it’ll be great if you are familiar with social networks, things like advanced Facebook set-ups and web research. Fluent English and a passion for professional development in these areas are a must.

What did you expect from your internship?
Personally, I wanted to gain a lot of new knowledge in marketing and spend my summer productively. I also had an aim to see how companies and businesses work and how do they organized and I wanted to try being part of this system. Moreover, I wanted to try myself in different tasks and see if I can overcome any problems using creativity and critical thinking.
What did you like about our company?
I enjoy being a part of Skein company because of kind, talented and friendly people here. It is nice that Skein looks like a family and it is extremely great that everyone is heard and every idea or opinion are appreciated. I like that everyone here is so helpful and always want to give you a hand. It is also cool, that Skein team consists of young people (and no matter how old are you – only emotions and your insight feeling matter), who motivate to be better, more clever and smarter and to reach the “tops” in life.
What did you learn?
First of all, I learned to learn. I understood that if you are not sure about something or just do not know the meaning, then you need to find out the information about it or to ask someone who is a “profi” in some sphere. And, of course, I realized that you can achieve a lot only when you read so many literature about topics you are interested in. I also finished 2 online marketing courses (one of them was recommended be Polina), when I had some free time. I learned about marketing and useful tips for B2B companies. As it is my first experience being an intern in such company, it was interesting for me to observe how are B2B businesses organized and how are the internal processes going. I learned about new methods of customers` attraction and leads` nutrition ; relevant content-marketing for different TA ; read a lot about marketing automation ; observed pain-points of start-ups, scale-ups and ways to prevent or overcome them. Moreover, I tried to read everything in English, therefore, I think that my English level has increased.
Would you recommend our company to your friends?
Of course, because everyone here can gain either new pieces of knowledge or experience and, of course, make good friends.
