Skein has organised the eComm Hackathon in collaboration with its long-term client Cools.com. The hackathon took place over the weekend 17-18th of March 2018 at Skein’s Kyiv office. We gathered 25 strongest computer engineers who worked on non-standard eComm challenges, that included Machine Learning for generating better recommendations, Amazon Alexa skill and blockchain solutions for Ethical Shopping. It was an intensive two-day hacking competition where Alexa’s Boyfriends team has won the main prize of $1,500 with their Amazon Alexa voice search solution.
